Corporate magician FAQs
-
I perform close-up magic at corporate parties, conferences, networking events, brand activations, product launches, awards nights and client entertainment. Most performances are walk-around, mingling seamlessly with guests, though I can also present short stand-up moments if required.
-
I move naturally around the room performing short, high-impact moments of magic for small groups. It works brilliantly during drinks receptions, networking sessions and between courses, creating energy, bringing people together and sparking conversations without interrupting the flow of the event.
-
Most corporate bookings are 1-2 hours, which is ideal for receptions and networking events. For certain larger events 3 hours may be advisable. I’m very happy to advise on timing based on your schedule, guest count and event format.
-
As a rule of thumb, if performing in a walkaround format Jordan can perform for up to 60 guests an hour.
That said, we’d usually recommend a two hour booking for a crowd of 40 to 120. This allows for a more relaxed, and unhurried performance style to engage meaningfully with every guest. If your numbers are higher, I can advise on pacing or longer coverage so everyone feels included.
-
Very little. Close-up magic is self-contained and flexible. There is no stage, no microphones, no technical setup. I can work in busy venues, low lighting, standing receptions or seated dinners.
It is, however, usually preferable for there to be a private area to allow Jordan to set-up and pack away his props at the end of the night, as well as stow away his coat. -
Yes - subtly and tastefully. I can incorporate company names, messaging or themes where appropriate, particularly for brand activations or client-facing events. Nothing cheesy or salesy — just clever moments that feel intentional and polished.
-
Yes. I regularly perform for companies, agencies and professional organisations. I’m used to corporate environments and understand the importance of professionalism, punctuality and representing your brand well.
-
Yes. I’m fully insured and happy to provide documentation if required by your venue or events team.
-
For peak dates, earlier is always better. That said, I can sometimes accommodate short-notice bookings, so it’s always worth getting in touch.
-
Corporate pricing depends on duration, guest numbers and event type. Most bookings fall within a clear, fixed range, and I’m always happy to provide a transparent quote once I know a little about your event.
-
Simply get in touch via the contact form or email. I’ll confirm availability, timings and details, any check-ins closer to the event, deposits and final payment. Once booked I handle everything so you can focus on the event itself.
